Former air stewardess Pat Wickens set up The Limes Bistro 30 years ago after she transformed a 300-year-old cottage in Charlwood into a wonderful little restaurant. It's a family run business that offers a dining experience second to none.
"We try to cook food individually for each customer rather than mass production. We make all the sauces ourselves and buy everything fresh and prepare it all in the kitchen," said Pat.
The Bistro's simple bar area which feels very homely is very comfortable where you can wait until it is time to eat and the food is ready when you reach your table.

Acacias Estate Genesis Vineyard 1996 Oak Aged MERLOT. Produce of Chile, a smooth red wine, perfect for any occasion. Chile's oceanic climate, with the Pacific to the west and the Andes to the east, and more particularly the MAPI Valley's climate, is perfectly suited to France's classic grape variety of the Merlot. Modern cultivation at our Acacias Estate vineyard and cellar techniques combined with the use of oak ageing have produced this superb wine showing fruit and oak integration, a good balance and a finish with length.
